IMTA Chairman Margaret Boanas becomes Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers

IMTA’s Chairman Margaret Boanas became the Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers on 9 September 2021.

Margaret has been a Liveryman of the Company since 1997 and has been on the Court for a number of years. The Worshipful Company of Butchers is one of the City’s oldest liveries with roots dating back to 1331. The company has historic ties to Smithfield Market and the meat trade.

The IMTA Secretariat and membership is extremely proud of Margaret for this achievement and look forward to supporting her in this role over the coming year.
