We are delighted that IMTA Chairman, Margaret Boanas, was awarded the Meat Management Women In Meat Industry Awards in the Trade Body Category last night. Margaret also received the prestigious overall Meat Businesswoman of the Year award. Margaret has worked in the meat industry for over 40 years and has been IMTA Chairman for the last 5 years.

Margaret advocates tirelessly for the interests of IMTA members be it to civil servants, government ministers, or previously to officials in the EU Commission in her role as Vice President for International Trade at UECBV.

Margaret’s passion and enthusiasm for the meat industry is infectious and inspiring. The IMTA Secretariat and members are immensely grateful for her efforts over the last five years and could not think of a better way to celebrate Margaret’s incredible career.

In true 2020 style, IMTA celebrated via Zoom.
